J.B. Hall was born in Springfield, Illinois in 1963. He attended Beloit College in Wisconsin where his relationships and diverse perspectives influenced his art. J.B Hall started his career in an art studio where he quickly became the principal artist. His influences are many, diverse, and constantly changing. J.B. believes artists should not totally isolate themselves in ‘art-thought’, but develop other interests that run tantamount to art. His upbeat attitude is reflected in his playful style of painting with color being the keystone of each piece. He believes it’s an environment that stimulates freshness, unpredictability while steering clear of contrivance.
